This program is pending certification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and Professional Development Credits (PDC'S).

On-line pre-registration will end at 4:00pm on the Friday prior to the meeting. If you do not pre-register and pre-pay (via credit card) before this deadline and still wish to attend, we welcome you to "pay at the door” for an additional $15 fee. Remember, if you need to cancel for any reason, simply send a note to our registration team.

Workplace wellness is increasingly becoming a top priority for organizations, and results show that the investment is worth it. Learn how you can best understand what motivates employees to increase engagement and improve company culture, while becoming more active and healthy at the same time.

This presentation examines industry best practices for successful and sustainable workplace wellness programs, and explains why workplace wellness should be part of a company’s vision/mission. 

This program will help you:

  • Understand how to implement a corporate wellness strategy/program
  • Understand how to use data to help drive the process
  • Understand employee’s motivation to increase participation
  • Understand roadblocks and how to move beyond the challenges
  • Explore the long-term results of a successful wellness program



FIT or WHAT CEO and Founder, Marianne Morano, M.S., ACSM, CWC, has 20+ years of experience in the health/fitness/wellness/disease prevention industry working with corporations, individuals and institutions assisting them in all areas of health and wellness including: weight loss, health risk stratification and disease prevention, nutrition, fitness, stress, lifestyle change and lifestyle education.  Her education includes an undergraduate degree (B.B.A.) in Business Administration/Marketing, an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, and dual Master of Science degrees in Clinical Exercise Physiology, and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

In addition, she has 10+ years of experience as a college professor teaching nutrition, exercise physiology and health and wellness while developing programs for the college as the Chairperson of the Department of Health & Exercise Science, and 20 years of experience as a certified tennis professional.

She is ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Wellcoaches Certified Wellness Coach, and PTR Certified Tennis Professional and a Nutrition Specialist.  Marianne serves on the Medical Advisory Board at Cancer Schmancer Organization, as well as the Advisory Board for the Exercise Science and Clinical Exercise Physiology degree programs at East Stroudsburg University.  In addition, she serves on the Morris County Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellness committee, is on the Board of Trustees of the Mt. Olive Chamber of Commerce where she serves as Chairperson of the Women in Business committee.  Marianne is a regular guest on WRNJ radio.
